In the world that people are living in today, it is very evident that hardship is everywhere in all aspects of their lives. This problem is always blamed on the state of the economy, and the next thing to be put in question, is the leadership, which is inevitable, because all will agree that they go hand in hand, since the leader is considered to be the one who is supposed to steer the ship and give the direction to where the nation should go, especially on the subject of the citizen’s living condition. The people’s role is to choose the rightful person to head the country. The problem is, they are sometimes misled by candidates due to their eloquence when delivering their campaign speeches. And this makes the listeners wonder, can both the leadership speakers and economic speakers, really have a major effect in decision making?
It is a fact, that good leadership is the number one key to success in any organization, therefore to have this result, people with these qualities should be developed since not every person is a born leader. One of the ways used by most companies is to provide seminars on this topic, but before doing this, qualified speakers must be found.
One of the top traits that effective speakers must possess is of course excellent academic credentials (the reputation of the school, including the student awards and scholastic honors/ recognitions received). They should also have the necessary experience, which should be backed up by their various accomplishments and the current positions held in society. So a very thorough research on their background should be made. But the attitude should not be excluded from the list; the speakers should exude positivity, confidence and intelligence to be able to convince the audience effectively.
If only the speeches on leadership and state economy can make people translate the words therein, into actions that will result to better situations, then one can conclude that there really is a great need for them.
